Safety is never paywalled
Crisis resources and the “Need help now?” guidance will never depend on a paid plan. Any safeguarding features introduced later will also be independent of payment. See Safety & Privacy for what is currently enabled.
Who pays
When paid plans launch, purchases will be made only by an adult or a parent/guardian on their own account. Children will not be prompted to purchase or asked to pay; billing will stay out of child chat.
Planned policies (draft for review, not an active agreement)
Cancelling a subscription: we intend that cancelling would stop renewal, with access continuing until the end of the period already paid for.
Marketing emails: unsubscribing from marketing would be separate from billing and would not affect your account or any subscription.
Deleting your account: account deletion is separate from both. It removes your account under our privacy practices; how it interacts with a paid subscription will be confirmed before paid plans launch.
