For schools

Students often carry a bullying experience for a long time before telling anyone. MyBullyBuddy offers a calm first step that can lead toward the adults already in their lives.

What students get

Somewhere to talk the moment something happens — after school, on the bus, late at night — without needing to book a meeting or find the right words first.

How it fits your existing supports

MyBullyBuddy does not replace counsellors, safeguarding processes, or your school's reporting pathways. It encourages students to bring what they've worked through to a trusted adult.

The information you choose to share helps bullying prevention and training teams identify trends, understand where support is needed, and tailor their programs to different communities.

Implementation

Schools can share MyBullyBuddy as a link in student portals, wellbeing pages, or orientation materials. There is nothing to install.

A link alone does not authorize child use. Under an agreed deployment, the school or authorized organization handles the enrollment/authority process and MBB records the applicable source, approval state, version and time before access. School entitlement ending suspends access and starts the approved 30-day deletion grace period.

Schools do not receive ordinary Buddy conversations, messages, mood discussions or audio history. See Safety & Privacy for temporary content and the account lifecycle.

Prevention and insight

Understanding the patterns behind bullying can help inform prevention efforts over time. Any future school-facing insight would be aggregated and privacy-reviewed — never individual conversation content.
